Our Mission
GeoCanvas is a web map editor for large geospatial data, with real-time collaboration built in. Our mission is to take a team from dataset to a live, shareable map in seconds — without standing up any GIS infrastructure, and without downsampling when the data gets big.
What We Build
The whole mapping stack runs in the product: vector and raster uploads are auto-tiled on ingest, then styled, analyzed, and shared in one place — data-driven styling with automatic legends, SQL analytics over your own data, and live collaboration where sharing a link means exploring the same map together, not emailing screenshots.
Technology
GeoCanvas renders with deck.gl, syncs edits over WebSockets, and answers questions with an embedded DuckDB analytics engine. Open standards are a commitment, not a feature: import and export always work in open formats like GeoJSON, CSV, and Shapefile, so your data stays yours.
